Driveway Permits

Driveways in Springdale must be approved by the Town Board at regularly scheduled, monthly meetings. To apply for a driveway, please use this form:

Driveway Permit Application ($250)

The Town Board meets every third Tuesday of the month. To ensure a timely Board approval, please ensure that your application is complete, paid and submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the next available Town Board meeting. 

Once you have submitted your application and fee, the Town chair will reach out to you to schedule a site visit. In preparation for the chair's visit, place 2 stakes at either side of the driveway entrance, and 1 stake every 25 feet on both sides of the drive, leading to the house location.

After the chair's site visit, you will be added to the next agenda for Board approval of your permit. 

Before submitting your application, we also ask that you read our Driveway Construction Requirements as well as our Private Driveway Ordinance. Being familiar with Town standards will ensure a smooth approval process.
