Town Board Meetings

To request placement on an upcoming Town Board or Plan Commission agenda, please email the Administrator/Clerk or Plan Commission Chair at least two weeks prior to the next meeting. Requests with fewer than two weeks' notice will necessarily be placed on the following month's agenda. The Springdale Town Board meets every third Tuesday of the month; the Plan Commission meets every fourth Monday.

Town Roads

The Town of Springdale posts road weight limits year-round to protect our roads. Heavy trucks should lighten their loads as they travel Springdale roads to no more than 5 tons per axle.

If roads are damaged by excessive weight, the responsible owner will pay three times the cost of repair.

Property Tax Assessment

Property Tax Assessment in the Town is provided by Accurate Appraisal out of Menasha, WI.

All Springdale property owners are encouraged to send assessment questions to Accurate at question@accurateassessor.com, or call (920) 749-8098.

Building Inspection

Building Inspection in the Town is provided by Tracy Johnson of Johnson Inspection, LLC. All inspections must be called in to (608) 459-8800. Questions and completed building permit applications may be directed to Tracy via email at johnsoninspection@gmail.com, or by mail at P.O. Box 127, Arena WI 53503.

All structures larger than 200 sq. feet, as well as remodels, solar installations, swimming pools and electrical service upgrades will require inspection and permit.

Dark Sky Lighting

Springdale adopted its Dark Sky Lighting Ordinance on March 17, 2014 (linked here) to protect the view of the night sky for the enjoyment of the citizens of the Town. This ordinance applies to all outdoor lighting within the Town unless otherwise exempted. This ordinance does not apply to emergency lighting, temporary lighting, vehicular lighting or lighting on wheeled farm machines.
