Property Tax Assessment


Property Tax Assessment in the Town is provided by Accurate Appraisal out of Menasha, WI. 

All Springdale property owners are encouraged to send assessment questions to Accurate at question@accurateassessor.com, or call (920) 749-8098.


Open Book

The Town of Springdale assessment roll for the 2024 market update will be open for examination on WEDNESDAY, JULY 31, in-person at the Springdale Town Hall (2379 Town Hall Rd. Mt. Horeb, WI 53572) from 9-1 PM. Please know that property owners do not have to attend in-person to speak with an assessor; you may contact Accurate any time prior to the Board of Review. Questions may be emailed to question@accurateassessor.com, or called in to (920) 749-8098. 

To set up an Open Book appointment, please log on to www.accurateassessor.com and click the online appointments link on top of the screen. Choose your location, your Open Book date and time, and enter your personal information including phone number and email. If you do not have Internet access, please call Accurate Appraisal at (920) 749-8098 to schedule an appointment.

Information about assessments, how to file an objection, and Board of Review procedures under Wisconsin law will be available at the Open Book.
 

Board of Review

The Board of Review (BOR) will take place on Wednesday, September 4 from 3 - 5:00 PM

The BOR consists of municipal officials, residents or a combination of both. The BOR operates like a court; it hears evidence from you and the assessor before making a decision. The BOR can act only on sworn evidence presented at the hearing.

If, after you have spoken to the Assessor regarding your concerns, you still wish to file a formal appeal to appear before the BOR, please email Jackie at adminclerk@springdalewi.gov to provide written notice of your intent to appear. You must also fill out the applicable Department of Revenue form(s): 

 
  • PA-115A (Objection form for Real Property Assessment)
  • PA-115B (Objection form for Personal Property Assessment)
