Residing on the eastern edge of Wisconsin's driftless (unglaciated) area, Springdale's topography is varied with rolling hills and attractive valleys hosting natural springs that feed some of the finest trout streams in the state. The thirty-six square mile area of Springdale lies within the Upper Sugar River Watershed.
The mixture of open fields and woodlands provides a habitat for deer, turkey, pheasant, and other game. The abundant natural resources and magnificent scenic vistas create a wonderful area for people to live and pursue a variety of activities.
